In Belgium the factory in Gosselies is going to shut down and the production to be moved. Around 2000 employees are affected. In Aurora, Illinois, USA Caterpillar close the wheal loader manufacturing, 800 people work there. The company is running a big saving program. According to press information around 10 000 people may loose their work. The main reason according to the company is the slow business in the mining sector. Caterpillar is the world largest manufacturer of construction and civil engineering machinery like movers, lifters and handlers.
