The price survey done by proPellets Austria resulted in an average price of € 22.93€-Cent per kg of wood pellets or 4.68 Cent per kWh.

Wood pellets presently offer a price advantage of

– 32.2% as opposed to extra light heating oil and
– 44.8% as opposed to natural gas.

Austria: Price for pellets in bags in Cent/kg in the last 13 months

Wood pellets in bags cost an average of 3.85€ per 15 kg sack (when ordered by the pallet).
